This session will take place at 11:00 AM at the Peoria Civic Center, and will consist of two games:
Game 1 – Boeheim’s Army – Syracuse Alumni vs. Forces of Seoul
Game 2 – Illinois alumni – House of ‘Paign vs. Jackson, TN
Free tickets are for camp participants ONLY ages 8 – 14 years of age (there will be an opportunity for one parent/guardian to receive a ticket at a discounted price or free of charge pending additional information. The Mitchell “JJ” Anderson & Dana J. Davis All-Star Basketball Camp was co-founded in 1997 by former Bradley University standout and NBA Player, Mitchell “JJ” Anderson, and Dana J. Davis, Former Vice President of Basketball Operations and Team Programs for the Memphis Grizzlies, who wanted to give Peoria youth a chance to develop their basketball skills with the guidance of national, international, and local basketball stars. The camp also focuses on teaching campers what it takes to have a winning attitude, good work habits and the benefits of always doing your best.
The four-day basketball camp is FREE to all boys and girls ages 8 to 14. To register for the Mitchell “JJ” Anderson & Dana J. Davis All-Star Basketball Camp, participants must complete and return the official registration form which is available at PCCEO and Proctor Center. Registration can also be completed through the Facebook page at facebook.com/JJandDD/ or the registration link below.
Medical Exams: In conjunction with OSF St. Francis Medical Centers, all campers will be given the opportunity for a free school physical.
Attendance: This year, camp organizers anticipate attendance to reach 400 boys and girls with a no-charge policy for all participants thanks to the generosity of camp sponsors.
