Peoria Public Schools presented its Community Contribution Award to President/CEO McFarland A. Bragg II at the February 24th Board of Education meeting for his continued support of Peoria Public Schools and his dedication to the community.
In presenting the award, Superintendent Dr. Sharon Desmoulin-Kherat explained, “Mr. Bragg has been an outstanding partner for the school district. He never complains and is always there whenever something is needed.”
Mr. Bragg took the time to dedicate the award to his amazing staff and board of directors. As he explained, “The organization earned this award because of the excellent and outstanding work that our staff does every day for economically challenged individuals and families in our community.”
In closing, Mr. Bragg encouraged everyone to become involved in the latest 2020 Census Bureau. The 2020 Census will determine congressional representation, inform hundreds of billions in federal funding, and provide data that will impact communities for the next decade.
