Home Rehabilitation Home Rehabilitation is one of the many programs offered at PCCEO. This program assists in bringing your house up to city code by contracting repairs such as roofing and siding, electrical and plumbing repairs and repairs to walls and porches. In addition to Home Rehabilitation, houses may also be eligible for Home Weatherization and Lead Mitigation (separate programs available at PCCEO).

Home rehabilitation can include installation of windows, roof repair, and interior rehabilitation and repairs.

The Home Rehabilitation program is funded by the Home Improvement Program (HIP), a city program for Peoria.

Application requirements for this program include documentation of yearly income (applicant must meet income guidelines), home ownership, proof that property taxes are paid up-to-date and in full, and proof of valid liability insurance on the home.
