Rehabilitation Home
Rehabilitation is one of the many programs offered at
PCCEO. This program assists in bringing your house up
to city code by contracting repairs such as roofing and
siding, electrical and plumbing repairs and repairs to
walls and porches. In addition to Home Rehabilitation,
houses may also be eligible for Home
Weatherization and Lead
Mitigation (separate programs available at
PCCEO).
Home rehabilitation can include
installation of windows, roof repair, and interior rehabilitation
and repairs.
The Home Rehabilitation program
is funded by the Home Improvement Program (HIP), a city
program for Peoria.
Application requirements
for this program include documentation of yearly income
(applicant must meet income guidelines), home ownership,
proof that property taxes are paid up-to-date and in full,
and proof of valid liability insurance on the home.
